The Industrial Revolution
Part I
YOU MAY NOT USE WIKIPEDIA!!!
You will be assigned ONE invention from the Industrial Revolution. You will create an E-Poster using MICROSOFT WORD about your invention that will be displayed in a gallery walk for your classmates to view. Your presentation must include each of the following in any order:
  • Your Name
  • Name of Invention
  • Name of Inventor
  • Approximate date invented
  • At least 1 Picture (3 Max)
  • Purpose (What did it do?)-Example: The Cotton Gin quickly removed seeds from cotton.
  • Briefly tell how it contributed to society-Example: The Cotton Gin made many people wealthy because they could sell more cotton. However, it also increased the need for slaves in the south. This created more problems between the North and South.
  • How you think life would be different today without this invention (Limited to 1 paragraph)
  • Sources you uses
  • SAVE TO GOOGLE DRIVE AND SHARE/EMAIL TO YOUR PARTNER SO THAT THEY HAVE ACCESS TO IT IN CASE YOU ARE ABSENT THE NEXT DAY!!!!

Part II-Gallery Walk
You will receive a chart titled, "Industrial Revolution Era Inventions." Your classmates will have their E-Posters displayed on computers for you to view. You choose 10 E-Posters to visit and record information on the chart. You may not record information for your own E-Poster.
